I learned about how to take an interview and edit one in iMovie.Filming an interview involves many tasks. Finding an expert to provide information is essential to a good news story. A good interview shoot capture the natural sound in eye setting of your story. The interview should feel like a conversation. The interview should contain open-ended questions to allow the person being interviewed to give detailed information for the answer. The interviewer should try not to interrupt the person being interviewed, and make time for the interview, so the person does not feel rushed Editing in iMovie allowed me to add titles, transitions, and move around clips to create an edited project. In iMovie I was also allowed to move around sounds so that I can have a sound looping over several videos.I had to leave out some footage to create the final product. The process took me around two hours to complete. In total, I had around 3-4 minutes of footage, but I ended up with a video that lasted about a minute and a half.My greatest success was being able to find a visitor who was willing to give an interview without notice, and a part-time librarian also.My biggest challenge was trying to film an interview in a quiet space like a library.
